Paddlers Cove is a newer community of single-family homes and townhomes built mostly between 2017 and 2023, including the Summerhouse at Paddlers Cove section.
The streets have sidewalks and are lined with trees and small ponds. Walking trails connect the neighborhood, and two amenity areas give residents pools, a clubhouse, a playground, and picnic space. The homes have open, modern floor plans, and the neighborhood manages to feel relaxed while still being close to everything.

Field Day Park isn't just close to Paddlers Cove. It's inside it.
The county opened this $13.5 million, 32-acre park in October 2020 on land set aside for public recreation when Paddlers Cove was planned. It has turf ballfields, synthetic multipurpose fields, dedicated pickleball courts, a playground, walking trails, and a community building. Weeknights and weekends here are full of youth leagues, pickleball, and families out for a walk.
Many neighbors can walk their kids to practice.

Our high schoolers attend Lake Wylie High School, a brand-new campus that opened its doors on August 3, 2026.
Lake Wylie High is the Clover School District's second high school. The district hasn't had two high schools since 1970. The three-story, 407,000-square-foot campus was built around natural light and outdoor learning, with large windows facing the surrounding green space and a geothermal system that is efficient and environmentally friendly.
Our kids are the first class of Chargers. They'll start the traditions, the rivalries, and the Friday nights that every class after them inherits.
School assignments are set by Clover School District and can change. Families should always confirm with CSD.

Paddlers Cove sits in the heart of the Lake Wylie community, just minutes from one of the best-loved lakes in the Carolinas.
Lake Wylie is the oldest lake on the Catawba River. It was first dammed in 1904, and it spans the North and South Carolina state line. Spend a Saturday on a pontoon, put in a kayak at sunrise, or fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and catfish. Duke Energy runs public boat access areas around the lake, so you don't need a dock of your own to get on the water.
